Make a daily sales brief
Start with a small sales pipeline. Ask Daslab to keep a brief alongside it, then change one deal and see whether the brief catches it. You can try this with sample data before connecting any company accounts.

1. Open a scene
Open Daslab in your browser and sign in or create an account. Open your Getting Started scene, or create a scene called Daily sales brief. You can also use a Daslab app.
2. Give it a starting table
Copy this into the scene’s conversation:
Help me make a daily sales brief using sample data in this scene.
Create a note called Sales Pipeline with this table:
| Company | Stage | Value | Owner |
|---|---|---|---|
| Globex | Proposal | $48k | Dana |
| Initech | Discovery | $12k | Sam |
| Soylent | Negotiation | $90k | Dana |
| Umbrella | Discovery | $7k | Priya |
| Hooli | Proposal | $150k | Sam |
Create a second note called Daily Brief. Save the starting pipeline
there as a baseline for future comparisons. Report the total value
and number of open deals. Keep everything in this scene.
Inspect the result. The starting table has five open deals worth $307k in total. Both the table and the baseline should be visible in the scene. If anything is missing or wrong, ask Daslab to correct it before continuing.
3. Change one deal
Change Globex from Proposal to Closed-won in Sales Pipeline.
Compare the pipeline with the baseline in Daily Brief. Update the
brief with the material changes, the remaining open pipeline value,
and a fresh snapshot for the next comparison.
Check the answer against the table: Globex closed for $48k, leaving four open deals worth $259k. No other stages, owners, or values should have changed.
Ask for a different view of the same work:
Add a breakdown of the open pipeline by owner to the brief.
This is the useful part of a scene: you can adjust what it does as you learn what your team needs.
4. Use it again
Keep the scene and return to it. Change another deal, ask what changed, and check the next brief. When it is useful, invite a teammate using the scene’s sharing controls. They can review the work you have already prepared.
For this first exercise, the pipeline is a table inside Daslab. It is not connected to a CRM. Replace the sample with your own information or connect a tool when you are ready.
Add a schedule or email later
The Daily Sales Brief template includes a weekday schedule and email delivery. Its setup uses the Daslab CLI and a connected Google account. Start with the manual example above to check the result before adding that setup.
